Is-sinjal għal SLOTTED SPOON isir biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 kkurvata bil-pala tħares ’il fuq u titla’ livell mal-għonq. L-id l-oħra ukoll tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 kkurvata ukoll imma bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. Din titqiegħed taħt l-ewwel id u s-swaba’ jinfetħu u jingħalqu ftit ripetutament waqt li l-id tinżel u titla’ kemm kemm mal-moviment tas-swaba’.
The sign for SLOTTED SPOON is made with both hands. One hand takes the shape of curved 5 with palm facing upwards and moves up to neck level. The other hand also takes the shape of curved 5 but with palm facing downwards. This hand is placed under the first hand and the fingers open and close a little repeatedly whilst the hand moves down and up a little along with the movements of the fingers.
